ELF Holiday Book Store
During the month of December, Pre-K and Kindergarten children in the Seamless Transitions program build “ELF Book Stores” in their classrooms. They earn “money” doing good deeds during the first week of the month to shop for books for classmates (chosen out of a hat) as holiday gifts.
The program involves literacy, math, problem-solving, creative arts and social skills.
Over the years, more than 500 age-appropriate books have been donated to the project.
