We believe that education is an important pathway out of poverty and that high-quality early childhood education, family engagement and early social-emotional learning provide the foundation for school success.

Visiting a Community Garden

Early Learning Focus works to create community partnerships and neighborhood connectedness. Our programs provide early childhood educational tools and resources in a community context.

We believe that there must be a seamless system of early childhood education for under-served children and their families.  The health and well-being of the community depends in large part on the educational opportunities available to its children–opportunities that come from families, providers, centers, and schools.

ELF focuses on creating community partnerships and neighborhood connectedness.  Our work with community organizations such as New Orleans Women & Children’s Shelter, provide early childhood educational tools and resources in a community context.
